Since leaving the Royal College of Art in 2005, Carolyn Massey has gone on to set up her internationally stocked label, (London, Italy, Korea, Sweden) and has been approached by Topman to create a seasonal diffusion line.

Currently in her 4^th season, the Carolyn Massey mainline label exhibits seasonally in Paris during Mens’ Fashion Week through easternBlock showroom. Corresponding presentations are also held through London Fashion Week. 

Stockists currently include PUB department store- Stockholm, Styler Store- Rome, Doors- London and NULL- Korea.

As well as the mainline collection, production has started on Carolyn’s third diffusion line collection for Topman. “Carolyn Massey for Topman” AW08 will go into Topman’s flagship store in Oxford Circus, La Foret in Tokyo, Selfridges, London and Topman NY.

Designer Background

Carolyn Massey is a 27-year-old London based British menswear designer who completed the MA at the Royal College of Art in 2005. After ‘frustration boredom and demand’, her label was started in June 2006. A detail obsessive, who can’t abide man made fibres, her work focuses upon the sartorial code of ‘what it is to be a gentleman’ and how this has been appropriated during times of social or civil unrest.
